Katie's (
 ) reward for catching my 4,000th. She wanted a fluff picture of Lorin and Nildae, our married characters. I came up with this, got a desire to color it.. did.Nildae and Lorin are married elves. : D They love each other very much and have five children- a set of twins (Dho and Arieti) and a set of triplets (Caelvia, Corihare, and Clair). They only tried twice. XD Anyway, Nildae is leaving to go to a war, where Oriythan is fighting to end segregation in Namila and Huor Surion, the human and elf countries respectively. It's not safe for half-elves over there because of the extreme racism. What brought about Oriythan joining a decades-long war was the murder of their President by a Huor Surion assassin- rumors have it that they killed him because of his elvish wife and half-elvish children. That was just the last straw, though. So now Nildae has to go fight and leave his wife and children behind to worry about him. ;-; You're so brave, baby! I spent a while on this picture trying to make sure it was the best one I ever made.. I played around with textures and effects on Nildae's pants and the tears, and I tried to pay attention to how the shading looked.. I hope it turned out well. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
